A sampling of the technologies that he has successfully prosecuted includes circuits and passive components, semiconductor processing and manufacturing, 3D Printing technology, satellite network communication, lasers and optics, mechanical and robotic devices, vehicle fleet route optimization, AI and machine learning, and waste soil remediation. 

Ricky’s patents have won numerous awards, including grants from government bodies, such as the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), which is an agency of the U.S. Department of Defense.  Investors have searched and found his patents online and reached out to their owners completely unsolicited.

In addition, he and his team provide patent administrative and paralegal services to law firms, technology companies, research universities and solo practitioners through his company Outsource Asia, LLC. Ricky grew up in the Sunset district of San Francisco, and earned his bachelor degree from UCLA in 2008.
